We choose to shot the first scene in the bedroom and use a various amount of shots so that we can show different shot angels and like we had a close up of him confused and then a normal midd shot of me just lip singing to the camera. also we thought that it would be best to show the scene of him in the bedroom to show that he just received the news of his girlfriend is pregnant and show his reactions and emotions in him waking up in the morning .
other places we thought about was doing with him looking at the mirror but this didn't work well as we saw a bit of the other person holding the camera.
then we moved to thinking about the other scene of the girl showing her frustration .we thought about doing it in the café and other varies places.
the last scene was always going to be the clinc seen of the brooks but we also thought about other locations that e could do being the park or just outside in the night walking home.
our settings is spread over three different locations a bedroom outside in the park and the clinic. We chose to do this because two of the four videos I looked at showed the rappers in separate places, with a distinction between the narrative and the performance sides of the video. we also chose to use only the main character and his girlfriend in the video because although all of our videos showed the other characters and more then 2 character we wanted to subvert the stereotype as our target audience said they like to see the singer most of the times in the video. I also asked friends what they would like to see and they said they would like to see the main character most of the time because the story would be told by his point of view and is easier to understand. But we wanted to change this and have two view points of two different character but still sticking with the main character. We also have chosen to use a lack of colour in the video we feel it would detract from the seriousness of it and just had the old scenery colour of blurry fade in it to show thoughts and memories. This is also something that contradicts the genre stereotype
